BAPTIST CENTERS FOR GOOD GRIEF

The all-female string Overlook Quartet hails from New York City but has a long-standing relationship with Memphis through Iris. Their five-day residency included workshops and performances with families reconciling loss from Baptist Centers for Good Grief and area music students.

MEMPHIS ORAL SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

Quarterly Visits

For over 15 years, MOSD has partnered with Iris musicians to encourage their students to joyfully interact with music, musicians and instruments. These delightful sessions reinforce auditory cues, speech, and gross motor skills.

Iris musicians play for patients and loved ones awaiting treatment offering comfort and respite.

LE BONHEUR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL & ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

Iris musicians regularly engage with patients, families, doctors, and staff through performances, bedside music visits, and special programs curated with their Child Life Specialists and Enrichment Offices.
