Returning for the 2nd year of the Iris Collective Small Business Series, cellist Cremaine Booker is deepening Iris’ partnership with Jasmine Settles, founder and owner of Cafe Noir. Booker is an acclaimed and versatile artist who spans gospel, classical, film and popular genres both as a cellist, singer and arranger. Settles has opened Cafe Noir to spread the love of literature in and for Black, queer Memphis. Together they will choose a writer to pair with Booker’s musical background for an evening of literature, music, dialogue and community.
